The Girls
Hemi Girl: Texi/Hemi puppy. N/N for DM. Hips rated Excellent!
Symphony: Olive/Hemi black girl, N/N for DM. Symphony is discerning and smart. She is friendly, but protective. She lives with a family who loves her.
Matilda: Lexa/Hemi, solid black puppy. Also, at have her in basic obedience training... She's the best one in the class. She was fully leash trained in 20 minutes... Can't wait until she's full blown adult, lol. She's still all puppy... Such a smart dog though. Matilda! I have an all-black GSD from High Country German Shepherds. Matilda is an incredible animal. She is currently just under 2 years old and ALL puppy still, as most young GSD's are. At six months old, she passed basic obedience training courses. She was so hyper at the time that I was of the opinion she was going to be untrainable. Boy, was I wrong! She was almost fully leash trained in 20 minutes. Once we figured out how to focus her energy into positive training, she quickly became the most trainable dog I've ever had. House training was a cinch, and she's a friendly and social animal. She's excellent with 2 other dogs in the house, three cats, and and a protector of my young children.
Physically, she's a fine specimen. She's fast, alert, and agile. She can clear a regular fence with ease and hike and run all day long, always being alert to her surroundings and ready for a command.
To be completely honest, she's the smartest dog I've ever had.

Nyx: Maya/Hemi, sable girl. N/N for DM. She is very high spirited and has tons of energy. She has decent recall even with distractions. She is kennel trained. She is leash trained but pulls around other dogs. She is very vocal and social. She mingles well with other pets after a good introduction. She does great off leash at our mountain property. She loves hikes. She knows and follows many voice, hand, and snap commands. She is very head strong so firm commands are necessary when she is excited. She loves to play. She is very loving and thinks she's a small lap dog. She does have some dominant traits when interacting with our other 2 pets, and typically runs the show. She has had 2 heats now. She does great with our 2 year old. I'll also send some pictures! Hope you are staying well!
Arya: is a Wager/Eli girl. She is a large, super smart, higher drive girl and is doing super in training.
Bamboo: Roxie/Hemi, bi-color girl.
Claire: Lexie/Eli girl. Black and tan. Hi Linda,
Here are some recent photos of Claire! I'll send more in another email as I hit my limit. She's a big, big girl. We haven't weighed her in the last 2 weeks but she's probably close to 88-90lbs now. We had some friends over on Friday and when I mentioned she was only just turning 9 months old, they were shocked. Said she behaved better than most adult dogs they meet. She does very well being calm and quiet inside while my husband and I are working but reminds us diligently about the noon o'clock and 4pm outside exercise time.
We train on a number of things pretty much every day and her recall is flawless. I pulled her off a deer chase the other day without any problems. We taped her ears some weeks ago when I asked for your input and they popped up and stayed up. One is still a little soft, but it doesn't fall down anymore. She's a bit...stompy and doesn't quite realize how big she is, but she does make an effort to keep still when small things are around her like the chicks (a work in progress). She's mostly safe with our chickens, but we do keep a close eye on her since she's still young.
She does very well with my husband and I, not seeming to have a distinct favorite between us. She's very sensitive which makes corrections and learning very straightforward and simple. She definitely acts as the "backup muscle" rather than "out in front and charge it down" when she's patrolling our pasture with my male pit. She walks well on a leash, but that's something I need to do more training on so she can learn to properly heel. She loves all adult people, none of that stranger danger Shepherds are known for. Children are a different story and we are working with some neighbors to get her more comfortable. I'm sure this is just a factor that we are currently childless and have extremely limited contact with children since the pandemic started. She made tons of progress the first time our neighbors' kids were visiting, going from alarm woofing when she saw them to coming up and gingerly licking their fingers when they left.

Luna: is a solid black, short coat female with plenty of energy and a winning personality with protectiveness of her family.
Letter from her family: A few picture of our sweet Luna, with our kiddos. She is protective and watchful. She is always keeping tabs on our littles and will go back and forth between them to check on them if they’re playing in separate areas. She’s gentle, loving and brave. She has a healthy respect for our cat, but still has to make sure she’s not a threat to our kiddos. Lol.
We could not be happier to have her as part of our family. She is just what we needed.

Kalani: Lexie/Eli, Black and tan long coat girl.
Well she is doing great. Traits she is very large and in charge. She weighs 98lbs. She is very protective but yet still thinks she is that small puppy that slept on my lap. I let her do that one to many times cause now her favorite spot is taking up the whole couch next to me. She is very rambunctious not much slows her down till bed time. And shaking hands is her go-to anytime.

Nikita: Maya/Eli girl. Nikita
Nikita is a very sweet, happy, and loving girl. She is curious to meet new people but is not totally trusting. She loves to play with other dogs and kids. She knows what she wants and isn’t shy about telling you.
She’s loyal and well behaved. She likes to please! When on walks, she will stay right by my side. She is easily trained and does what is asked of her as long as she feels safe.
Nikita seems petite compared to her “brother”, but has a beautiful coat.
Although I’ve not seen her be protective, I have no doubt that she would assert herself if a situation arose. Mild mannered and calm, she watches everything carefully and keeps a close eye on her human children.

Artemis:
Bella: Shelby/Eli.
Bella is just the best dog, she is very sweet, protective and learns fast! She likes to be wherever we are and follows us everywhere. She loves being outside and playing with balls. She loves a good game of tug of war. She loves playing with other dogs and meeting new friends. She not very trusting of new people, but warms up once she realizes they are safe.

Grace: Judah/Nala.. Beautiful, dark, silver sable.
Grace is very food motivated. She has the ability to search and find, which I think can be expounded next with treats. Her senses are pretty good, does a lot of playing and chewing. She had a chihuahua sister that she loves and plays with constantly. On walks she takes to leashes well. Her size is getting big fast and now that l her shots are up to date, we are ready for some adventures. I see on walks recently she is getting her bark down and getting more confident with her size.
